Police Release Sketches of Robbery Suspects

The Humboldt State University Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in a strong arm robbery that took place on campus Dec. 2. Composite drawings of the three suspects are being posted in the area around Sunset Hall, where the crime occurred.  In addition, police are distributing the drawings to local media and posting them online.

The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1:  Black male adult, 18-20 years old, 5’9”/155 lbs, black hair, brown eyes.

Suspect #2:  Black male adult, 18-20 years old, 5’10”/155 lbs, black neck length dreds, brown eyes.

Suspect #3:  Hispanic male adult, 18-20 years old, 5’8”/165 lbs, black hair, brown eyes.

The incident occurred in Sunset Hall just after 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2. The victim reported that three men broke into his room, bound his arms and legs, and stole property.  No weapons were observed by the victim, and he declined any medical attention. The suspects were last seen on foot near the area of LK Wood Blvd. and Plaza Ave.

Police are planning additional patrols around campus residence halls over the next week.
