Cal Poly Humboldt’s annual Spring Preview for admitted students will be held on Saturday, March 30, and April 13.

The University anticipates hosting nearly 2,000 admitted students and their families over both weekends.

Spring Preview offers prospective students, newly admitted first-year and transfer students, and their families a glimpse of life at Cal Poly Humboldt. The events help students experience the campus community, giving them the opportunity to talk to current students, faculty, and staff.

“With their firsthand knowledge of the University's culture, values, and resources, they can make an informed decision about whether Cal Poly Humboldt is the right fit for their academic and personal goals,” says Office of Admissions’ Visit Experience Coordinator, Sulaina Banks.

Spring Preview offers many sessions, including tours of campus and residence halls, as well as opportunities to talk with faculty from every academic department during the Humboldt Connect fair. Additionally, there will be further opportunities to engage with some academic departments during the Academic Experience session.

Spring Preview sessions will also include a Spanish workshop. Convivio de Conocimiento de la Politécnica will allow Spanish-speaking students and families to meet Latinx faculty, staff, and current students at Cal Poly Humboldt. At this workshop, they will learn about resources available to students and how to build a support system with the community.
