HSU students are invited to dive in and get started learning and collaborating in Canvas, HSU’s new learning management system (LMS). The Canvas Pizza Party will take place in the HSU Scholar’s Lab (HSU Library, Third Floor) on Thursday, March 23 from 12:00 -2:00 p.m.

An interdisciplinary panel featuring HSU faculty and community members host the talk “Syrian Refugees: Escaping the Horrors of War, Coping with World Apathy” on Monday, Feb. 27, 6 to 8 p.m., in Founders Hall Rm. 125 on the Humboldt State campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Going for Recycling Glory

Students at Humboldt State are looking to grab the top spot in the 2017 RecycleMania, a contest that pits U.S. and Canadian universities against each other in a competition over which school can reduce, reuse, and recycle the most on-campus waste. The eight-week competition runs through April 1.

Authors Celebration Honors Faculty, Staff, Student Works

The University Library hosts its third annual Authors Celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 3:30 p.m. The free, public event honors the scholarship and creative works of HSU faculty, staff, students, and alumni published in the last year.
