Humboldt State is among the country’s first universities to accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). A former Humboldt State University student was arrested for a sexual assault that occurred in December 2015 in an east campus parking lot. University Police officers arrested the student on Saturday, Feb. 13. The student was booked in the Humboldt County Jail.
