A Humboldt State University program that encourages low-income and first-generation students and students with disabilities to pursue higher education, is set to expand after earning a grant from the United States Department of Education.

Each year’s freshman class brings with it countless individual stories, personalities, and backgrounds. Stepping back a bit, here’s a look at some data about Humboldt State’s freshman class.

Humboldt State welcomed more than 70 new tenure-track faculty, temporary faculty, and staf members at the annual Fall Welcome.
