The scene isn’t unusual for an upper level course in a science classroom, but these students are doing something previously unseen in undergraduate courses: editing genomes.

Spanish-language Public Radio Gives Community a New Voice

In 2008, when Fernando Paz was a student at Humboldt State, he was driving a group of immigrants who had been swept up in a local immigration raid. They were heading south to San Francisco to take care of legal matters. Paz remembers the mood in the car was somber—until they heard Spanish-language programs on the radio.

Survey Finds Most Seniors Positive About Their HSU Experience

More than 80 percent of seniors evaluated their HSU experience as “good” or “excellent,” and said they would “probably” or “definitely” choose HSU again, according to the results of the most recent National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
