To support the health and wellbeing of Humboldt State students, the University has received a $150,000 grant from California State University to expand mental health services on campus.

Humboldt State's Lizzy Prescott is among the six-former student-athletes and coaches from across the state who will be inducted into the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) as members of the Class of 2020 as announced by the conference office earlier this week.

Humboldt State University is celebrating its 20th year participating in International Education Week, Feb. 10-14.

As the semester kicks off, the Academic & Career Advising Center (ACAC) will offer free, gently used clothing to students launching their careers and looking for summer jobs and internships.

This spring, HSU students enrolled in an intensive workshop hosted by the Program of Environmental Studies will spend their spring break vacations applying knowledge to action in the name of climate resilience.

The African American Center for Academic Excellence (AACAE), in collaboration with multiple campus and community partners, is planning events and activities for the upcoming Black Liberation Month.

CSU Chancellor Timothy White, trustees, CSU presidents and hundreds more celebrated Humboldt State University and recognized Tom Jackson, Jr. as the University’s eighth president at the Presidential Investiture on January 15.

After receiving more than 800 acres of forest near Jacoby Creek near campus, Humboldt State University students and staff plan to conduct research in the area on a variety of subjects.

The College of the Redwoods and Humboldt State University formalized a longstanding partnership on Friday, with the overall goal of making the path to a four-year degree seamless for students who transfer.

Humboldt State University has once again received recertification for its contribution to the study of fire ecology. HSU joins only eight other universities in the country in receiving the AFE certification for contributing to the field of fire ecology.

The Humboldt State University debate team left their mark this fall by facing off with the most competitive debate teams in the country in a trio of key tournaments. The result was one of the best beginnings to a competitive season in recent memory.
