Humboldt State University's First Street Gallery presents "Glass, Color, and Light," a solo exhibition by painter and Art Professor Emeritus Demetri Mitsanas on display through December 23rd. The Humboldt Bay Brass Band, the brass ensemble led by Humboldt State Music Professor Gil Cline that employs British instrumentation, will perform in the guise of the “Humboldt Bay Bugle Mob” in the university’s Centennial Parade on Friday, Sept. 27, departing from the campus at 4:15 p.m. via Harpst Street to the Arcata Plaza. Fans last enjoyed the Bugle Mob in last spring’s Rhody Parade in Eureka.
