Journalism and Mass Communication majors Ashley Bailey, Karina Gonzalez, Lye Landau, Tristan Pulido and Sara Wilmot have been accepted to attend a highly-competitive business journalism conference in New York taking place in October.

Humboldt State military veterans say the thing they miss the most about their service experience—soldierly camaraderie—is supplied in spades by the University’s year-old Veterans Enrollment and Transition Services Office, staffed by fellow vet undergraduate and graduate students.

Humboldt State University will conduct a 15-minute test of its Emergency Alert System on Thursday, September 24, from 10:45 to 11 a.m. Thursday’s exercise will be a drill only and no evacuations will be ordered.
