Biologist Named to World Threat Forum

Arcata - Dr. Ronald A. Fritzsche, an alum ('67) and Professor of Fisheries Biology Emeritus at Humboldt State University, is one of 18 scientists worldwide and the only one from the U.S. west coast invited to a key conference in London in January to evaluate the marine fish species on the international endangered list.

Arrest Made in Sexual Assault Case

Arcata ‐ A 24‐year‐old McKinleyville man was arrested on campus by Humboldt State University Police on Sunday, Nov. 16, for the alleged sexual assault of an 18‐year‐old Humboldt State University freshman. The crime allegedly occurred during the course of 12‐17 hours they reportedly spent together on Saturday night, Nov. 15, and the following Sunday morning.
