Housing and meal plan prices for HSU students will not go up next year, as the University maintains a commitment to providing affordable basic needs to the campus community.

HSU Earns Recognition for Excellence in Fire Ecology

Humboldt State University has once again received recertification for its contribution to the study of fire ecology. HSU joins only eight other universities in the country in receiving the AFE certification for contributing to the field of fire ecology.

HSU Presents “Dreamers: Aquí y Allá”

The Department of Theatre, Film & Dance presents the Humboldt County premiere of “Dreamers: Aquí y Allá” by Andrea Caban beginning Friday, Dec. 6. The production at HSU marks only the third time the play has been presented to audiences.

Seeking Feedback About Campus Budget Planning

The University Resources & Planning Committee hosted a campus forum on budget planning on Nov. 7, the first of two campus meetings related to the URPC’s work to develop a three-year balanced budget plan. Voting at Humboldt State Soars in 2018

Humboldt State student voting was up in last year’s election, increasing to 41.9% in 2018 from a rate of 12.9% in 2014. College student voting doubled nationwide, according to a national study.
