Humboldt State University Third Street Gallery presents _Dog Summer: Young Alumni-2018_, on exhibit from July 1 through Sept. 2. The exhibition features works by the 2018 graduates from Humboldt State’s Art Department. The title of the exhibition takes its name from the Chinese zodiac.

Humboldt State University Looking Into Recent Arrest

On Saturday, June 16, the Humboldt State University Police Department was working a multi-agency operation targeting alcohol violations. In conjunction with this operation, two arrests were made off campus at 9th and F streets in Arcata.

Fifty Years of Community Engagement and Service Learning

For 50 years, Humboldt State’s Youth Educational Services (Y.E.S.) has engaged with the community, growing from a single, student-initiated youth tutoring program to 14 volunteer programs that give students an opportunity to learn while addressing community issues.

Meet Our 2018 Distinguished Alumni!

Humboldt State University has been recognizing the achievements of alumni since 1960 when the University launched its annual Who’s Who Award. This year, we celebrate six alumni who have been recognized as leaders in their fields and have been outstanding contributors to their community, nation, or Humboldt State University.

2017-18 Outstanding Faculty Honored

Since 1964, Humboldt State has honored outstanding faculty. Robert W. Zoellner, Department of Chemistry, Courtney Otto, Department of Biological Sciences, and Julia L. Alderson, Department of Art, are the recipients of the 2017-18 Distinguished Faculty Awards.
