_The following message was provided by the Office of the President._ Dear Campus Community, In April the University Resources & Planning Committee sent me its 2014-15 budget recommendation. After reviewing and discussing the recommendation with incoming President Lisa Rossbacher, we have approved HSU's 2014-15 budget.

Known as a leader in the prevention and response to sexualized violence on college campuses, the Humboldt State University Sexual Assault Prevention Committee’s work has been recognized for its excellence by the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women.

This May the HSU Sustainability Office and the Waste Reduction & Resource Awareness Program (WRRAP) hosted Donation Dash, an annual event designed to reduce waste generated by students moving out of the residence halls.
